If it works (which it did for me), delete the Steam and Epic folders within the Celeste folder, which were just created.

Try running the game through Steam now, we're nearly done!.

Opt out of OpenGL beta within Steam at this point (if you haven't already), Steam will then run an update to patch the game for.

Then paste all of the content of the Epic folder into the Steam folder and replace items with the same names when prompted.

Then copy all of the files of the Steam version of the game and paste them into the Steam folder as a backup (just in case!).

In the folder just created named Epic, paste all of the files into it.

Within this folder (Steam's version of Celeste), create 2 new folders named Epic and Steam.

Go to your Steam downloads folder and find the Celeste folder like we just did with the Epic Games one, for me this one was located in Program Files (x86) > Steam > steamapps > common > downloads > Celeste.

For me this was located in Program Files > Epic Games > Celeste.

Navigate to the Epic Games downloads folder and find the Celeste folder in file explorer.

Download Celeste on this platform (it is currently free for the week, knowing that this solution works to resolve the issue, I hope Matt the dev team can implement this in the next update).
